Halls in Tawonga, Harrietville, Tallangatta and Corryong will share in close to $2 million of state and federal grants through the Local Economic Recovery program.
A $850,000 grant has been approved for improvements to the Tawonga Community Memorial Hall to enable it to be used as an emergency relief centre and to better support community events.
The Tawonga and District Community Association would like to thank the Alpine Shire for their support in getting this project off the ground.
